<p>Plasma catalysis is gaining increasing interest for various gas conversion applications, such as CO(2)conversion into value-added chemicals and fuels, CH(4)activation into hydrogen, higher hydrocarbons or oxygenates, and NH(3)synthesis. &nbsp; Other applications are already more established, suchas for air pollution control, e.g. volatile organic compound remediation, particulate matter and NO(x)removal. &nbsp; In addition, plasma is also very promising for catalyst synthesis and treatment. &nbsp; Plasma catalysis clearly has benefits over 'conventional' catalysis, as outlined in the Introduction. &nbsp; However, a better insight into the underlying physical and chemical processes is crucial. &nbsp; The key challenge is to design cost-effective, highly active and stable catalysts tailored to the plasma environment. &nbsp; Therefore, insight from thermal catalysis as well as electro- and photocatalysis is crucial.</p>

主講人介紹

Ahmed Khacef 教授來自法國奧爾良大學,法國國家科學研究中心電離環(huán)境下能量實驗室,國際研究網(wǎng)絡(GDRI)“污染排放后處理及可再生能源生產(chǎn)催化”科學委員會及“能量學、推進、空間與環(huán)境”研究所(CNRS-FR776 EPEE)成員,擔任IUT(奧爾良大學)董事會議員,法國國家研究機構 ANR (the National Research Agency, France)、比利時佛蘭德斯基金研究會FWO (Research Foundation Flanders, Belgium),加拿大自然科學與工程研究委員會NSERC (Natural Science and Engineering research council, Canada),和法國研究與發(fā)展研究所IRD (Research and Development Institute, France)項目評審專家。主要從事等離子體物理、化學及動力學,等離子體輔助催化煙氣(NOx, SOx, VOCs, …)污染物治理,等離子體重整烴類和沼氣,生物質(zhì)高值化等離子體氣化耦合(合成氣和制氫)等研究,發(fā)表論文110余篇,出版2部書籍,獲得2項專利,參加各類學術會議70余次,其中大會邀請報告12次。
